Spiritwalk AnnouncementsOctober, 1997 10/1/97 Two New Spiritwalk with Roger meditation and spiritual study groups are now organizing. They will probably begin in November '97 in both Sherman Oaks and Westlake Village. We're also working on a Woodland Hills group and a Teen Program. Space availability is always limited. 10/1/97 We're still looking for advice or even a volunteer to help in developing the spiritwalk web-site. We’ve come a long, long way in the development of skills in this area. We are now using the Microsoft FrontPage ’98 in constructing this site and think we are getting the hang of this. Thanks to geo-cities for providing the space for our web-site. Please note: The newsletter will probably come out twice a month until the end of the year and then weekly thereafter. 9/1/97 Are you looking for an opportunity to do some charitable work? Our friends at Little Heroes are looking for volunteer helpers. Little Heroes is an organization which helps parents and families who have experienced the untimely death of a young child. Check out their web-site at http://www.littleheroes.org or contact Heather@littleheroes.org. Several articles about this organization appeared in local newspapers in September. On October 7 we will be attending a talk by Tich Nhat Hanh on Touching Peace. The world renown Zen Master, writer and Nobel Prize nominee will teach Buddhist meditation techniques for calming and developing inner peace and awareness. He will focus on the technique of the cultivating mindfulness. We are requesting healing thoughts and prayers for her recovery. We know that prayer works and miracles are a daily occurrence and would greatly appreciate your support and thoughts for Marie. 9/1/97 We're looking for advice or even a volunteer to help in developing the spiritwalk web-site. We've learned a lot so far with this project, but would appreciate advice on how to improve this page. We are currently using the facility of Microsoft Publisher '97.
